Daily Photo: Week Twenty One

Day 146: Easter, the aftermath.

Day 147: I'm not usually a post gym photos type but I've been going so often it's become a pretty big chunk of my life so I figured why not. Not that you would believe me since the weights in this photo are only 10 lbs, but I'm getting stronger I swear!

Day 148: Big cups of coffee at work this week. Also, one of the companies we work with has this new logo and I love the bright green color. I told them I loved it and they sent me a whole stack of notepads and pens!

Day 149: Every Wednesday I have to go downtown to the post office for work and I realized, why don't I take more pictures while I'm down here? I only had my iPhone with me this time, but I'm going to start making sure my camera is with me. It's also fitting to show of Safeco since baseball season started up again this week.

Day 150: On Thursday Travis and I had dinner with his family before seeing our friends' band play. We had time to kill between the two and grabbed a drink at this bar I've been wanting to try for awhile, The Maple Bar! I made the official declaration that this is going to be a new regular spot.

Day 151: Inevitably the gloomy weather returned and I was needing some comfort food for the end of the work week.

Day 152: Saturday I had a total mental health day, which included an unfortunately unsuccessful attempt at getting a new power source for my record player.

Daily Photo: Week Twenty

Day 139: More flowers! I can't help myself.

Day 140: I had a real craving to make some guacamole on Monday, and personally I think it was my best batch yet!

Day 141: Current reads. I'm pretty happy with how many books I've gotten through so far this year.

Day 142: Easter planning! Also, I got a coffee table that I'm in love with, especially the color so there may be quite a few photos that look like this.

Day 143: Using A Beautiful Mess' app to make birthday cards. April is a ridiculously busy birthday month for me.

Day 144: THIS KEY CHAIN. My friend bought for me. I'm in love.

Day 145: Easter candies and another shot of things on my coffee table. Woops.

Daily Photo: Week Nineteen

Day 132: The morning before my mom left we went out to brunch at Wayward Cafe. I'm lucky she was being such a good vegan sport while she was here!

Day 133: Current reads - The Alchemist. There are a lot of thought provoking and inspiring quotes in here but I particularly loved this one, "One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving."

Day 134: I'm awful at keeping plants alive, but my little desk friend is still going strong for now.

Day 135: Spring flowers are turning from daffodils to tulips.

Day 136: Morning routines.

Day 137: This week I got two new bags that I am obsessed with. On the left a new gym bag from Fabletics, and on the right a fun (total steal) of a purchase from Forever 21.

Day 138: Saturday Travis and I went to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. I have a lot of photos to share from it, but here's one for now of a boy that was yelling "Mom! Take a picture of them!" when we were still in line to get in. I can only imagine how much it blew his mind when he got to the actual fields.

Daily Photo: Weeks Seventeen & Eighteen

This past week was a tough one. I was so sick and functioning like a normal person was really rough. But, I'm finally almost back to full health. Anyway, that being said here's a two week edition of daily photo since my jumbled mind didn't post last week :)

Day 117: Sometimes Sundays truly need to be recovery days, especially when you feel like you've been running around non stop (which I often do).

Day 118: A new yoga mat! I live a lot closer to the gym in my new place so I am working on doing better about not just doing my normal routine, but utilizing all of the amenities they have including free classes.

Day 119: Thank God for PCC. This vegan diet is tough, but especially when I'm busy (or sick) and don't take the time to really plan out my meals. I've been finding myself swinging into PCC pretty often to snag some of their delicious vegan options.

Day 120: A bowling outing with work! I'll be honest, I kind of crushed it. ;)

Day 121: About half of my nail polish collection. I don't paint my nails that often, but somehow I have accumulated many colors. Maybe I don't paint them often because it takes me too long to pick a color!

Day 122: Isn't this flask awesome!? Found at a map store downtown.

Day 123: Sounders! Travis and I bought half season match passes for the Sounders and went to our first game together last weekend. Sadly they lost, but we had fun nonetheless.

Day 124: Now it's officially spring and it's starting to show more and more.

Day 125: Some days I really just stay holed up in my office for what seems like a never ending amount of time. I guess I'm starting to collect things and go into hibernation mode.

Day 126: Bread and wine is really all I need sometimes. Maybe it's time to look into a trip to Italy soon ;)

Day 127: And some days I sit on my floor and plan blog posts for what seems like a never ending amount of time.

Day 128: Spring in Seattle means flowers, but definitely doesn't mean a lack of grey skies.

Day 129: My mom came into town for a few days! We headed up to Woodinville on Friday for soem wine tasting and dinner. If you're in Washington and haven't gone out to Woodinville, put it on your to do list right away! Especially if you're a wine and food fan.

Day 130: Another thing we did while my mom was in town was go to a hockey game, which is something she's always wanted to do. I've never been to a hockey game either but I am a fan of pretty much any sport, and this was a lot of fun.

Daily Photo: Week Sixteen

Day 110: Alisha working hard at hairstyles. I had a lot of fun on Sunday doing a photo shoot for her at Haven Salon while she made the girls' hair looking amazing. More to share on this later.

Day 111: Speaking of Alisha, in return for the photo shoot she dyed my hair. So, bye bye blonde and helloooo red!

Day 112: Remember when I said I was obsessed with Amy's gold accents through her house (here), especially her bar cart? Well, she's a great friend and gave me this print her sister made. I'm really loving this corner of my apartment.

Day 113: This makes me laugh probably way more than it should, but the grill marks on my squash made a silly happy face and it amused me to no end.

Day 114: Have I mentioned that Travis is the best? He left flowers on my doorstep, again! Feeling pretty lucky lately.

Day 115: Here's a panorama snapshot of the way my apartment has been coming together. Planning a post soon to show off some details.

Day 116: The weather has been ridiculous for March in the PNW. I actually got slightly sunburnt this weekend if you can believe it. I went on a hike Saturday that was amazing, and I'll have more photos to share of that soon too.

Daily Photo: Week Fifteen

Day 103: More city photos and slightly sunshiney days.

Day 104: I had to do some crazy running around downtown for work and since I was right by the Starbucks headquarters I definitely needed to swing in. I also got a little heart drawn on my coffee, which made me laugh and not so upset about the madness that was downtown.

Day 105: As I mentioned last week daffodils are my favorite flower, and because Travis is basically the best this was what my doorstep looked like when I got home on Tuesday. :)

Day 106: Target dollar corner strikes again! I'm working on adding in gold accents through out my apartment right now, and I'm loving the look so far.

Day 107: The vegan life is rough, but I'm sticking to it well! I made grilled squash and sweet potatoes, which are things I don't generally cook with.

Day 108: Current reads. (I think I'll try to do a photo along these lines whenever I start a new book)

Day 109: My wonderful bed with a hazy half sleep filter, because that's pretty much how I felt all day Saturday.
