The Most Wonderful Day

Yesterday was an absolutely amazing Sunday. Lately I have been thinking through a lot of things and having kind of a hard time so yesterday I decided to have a rejuvenation day. It ended up being the best day I have had in a really long time. I took my camera along with me for most of it so I have some photos to share!

I woke up around 9:30 already in a good mood and started my day off with a bagel and some coffee.

I do not have pictures of the next part of my day but I went to church at Eastlake Community Church about 10 minutes from my house and listened to a really great message. This was the second week I have gone and I am really enjoying it so far. I also registered to get involved in a group so I am excited about that!

After church I decided to take a walk to a coffee shop and snap some pictures along the way. Fall is just starting and it is absolutely beautiful here in Washington.

Originally my plan was to find a new coffee shop near my apartment but fall means pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks and they are just too hard to turn down.

I spent the next couple of hours at Starbucks reading my bible, journaling, and reading Harry Potter.

Now, time for outfit details and a confession. If you know me you know that it is pretty easy to figure out my sense of style. There are a few things that I have a ridiculous amount of in my closet, studs being one of them. I just love studs on clothes/accessories. I do not know what it is but it is hard for me to pass up something with studs on it! Yesterday my outfit included quite a bit of them.

On my walk back I swung by Target to pick up some new nail polish. Once I got home I sat outside in the sun and painted my nails while I read more Harry Potter.

At about 4:00 I realized that I had not had anything but coffee since breakfast so I came inside to have a snack and when I turned on the TV Friends was on! I love Friends and the fact that it was on was just another little thing that added to my good mood.

At about 5:30 my wonderful friend Heather who I had not seen since graduation called and I went to meet her and a couple other friends for some drinks in Fremont. It was so nice to see her and we had a fun time just chatting. After awhile we decided to go for a walk and our friend took us to Kerry Park which I had never even heard of. It was the most amazing view of Seattle. The only thing that was not perfect about my day was that I forgot my camera when we went so all I have is this photo I snapped with my phone to give you an idea.

I am already dying to go back, it was so beautiful.

All in all, it was a great day and just what I needed. Plus the 49ers won! I hope everyone else had great weekends as well. Xo
